Lubbock County commissioners heard about 13 different ways of making the courthouse more secured. The plans ranged from $200,000 to one million dollars. It included having metal detectors, x-ray machines and hand wands at the entrances of the courthouse. But Gutierrez says changes will not be made until the next budget meeting.
