Located 45 miles South East of Lubbock, TX lays a quaint little town of 4,000 people. Post, Texas was established in 1907 by Mr. Charles William Post. Now, 100 years later, post offers several attractions for visitors to enjoy.
These attractions include:
- Old Mill Trade Days
- Garza County Historical Museum
- Garza Theater
- Ragtown Gospel Theater
- Tower Theater
This summer the city of Post along with Garza County will be having a large centennial celebration. June 1st through the 3rd the city wide celebration will include an all school reunion , parade, a longest breakfast table in Texas event, and a number of concerts. Set to perform at the Centennial: Bob Wills Band, Reckless Kelly, Matt Martindale band (formerly Cooder Graw), Jay Boy Adams and The Thrift Store Cowboys.
